The book of Ephesians can be understodd best by dividing the letter into three sequential parts:

A. Sit- Our complete rest in the unchangeable finished work of Christ

B. Walk- Our daily walk in spirit of God with practical impliacations

C. Stand-  Our reliance on the armor of the Gospel to withstand the enemy
